Take the picture to Harbor Freight. They should be able to help you with a bit for that.

 

It's called a pozidriv screw head/pattern and is close cousin to phillips head screw.

 

Thank you so much! Is there a "tri-star" type of pozidriv? Because when I google pozidriv it looks like all of them has a cross pattern like the phillips, but not a three thread type.

Why do manufacturers have to put on such weird type of screws...

 

You should be able to find it at Home Depot. It's called Pozi Drive Dual. Check Home Depot online first. Sometimes it's called Philips Pozi screwdriver. On some you can see PZ (PH - Philips Head) markings.

i dont have the 250 but on the 45s I think the front lips are held on by aluminum rivets, im gonna have to check them again.

 

Just checked the front of my 2015 AMG45... looks to be the same pozidriv head>>>

Are you sure you are not trying to unscrew a blind rivet? Unless I am looking at something wrong, my shop manual says it is a blind rivet????

 

I talked to the manufacturer of the front lip I ordered and they said they are rivets. So I went up to the online part catalog and found out the part which I think is the part we are talking about.

If so, does that mean I will have to drill on the rivets and remove them?

Does your shop manual by any chance tell you how to remove the front lip hahahahha
