Oppps dont hit return I guess, Same question as above please, someone kindly did put a diagram on here showing location on the passenger side { cant find diagram} My question is, Is it in the engine bay or behind the bulk head in the passenger bay ? also are you able to recharge this battery. Many Thanks for your reply Wayne I will investigate further. The location of my main battery is also on the passenger side, in the engine compartment, which contradicts the diagram I saw in the Auto Stop start thread someone had posted, but, on YouTube there is an auto mechanic all be it American that shows exactly what you are saying. Thank You..

As Wayne indicated the Auto Stop Start battery was indeed in/behind the passenger foot well, when I said All be it American auto mechanic, meaning it was a left hand drive car he was showing, but still strange the main battery and the auxiliary are on the same side, Benz Europe I guess. It is a Mercedes Labelled battery but from what I can gather there are two types, identification escape at the moment that don't and cant readily be charged by a bog standard 12v charger > your thoughts appreciated.

Checked Aux Battery 12+ Volts
Checked Main Battery 12+ Volts.
I suspect that the Eco Stop Start requires a re-programme if that is possible ?
I use an independent Merc/ BMW garage rather than the main dealer who rub their hands together when they see you.
