So I got sick of having to boot up the computer and carry it all the way to the car when needing to quickly diagnose MB specific stuff, so I looked online for a handheld OBD scanner.
Picked up the cheapest one, the Ancel BZ700 for 55 USD during a sale. It arrived and I immediately plugged it into my laptop to update...updated no worries.
Works fine for 32 MB specific modules on my 2016 GLA45, and 21 MB specific modules on my 2003 C180K
Overall I am very happy with the value of this handy little thing. Their customer support is also awesome, I am now working with them to see if they can debug a specific issue on my 2003 C180K where the comms to the SRS module is erratic. Remember that Xentry doesnt work with my 2003, and I dont want to shell out for a DAS.
All in all, a great buy.
