Did you DIY or hire a coder?

It was done by an electronics/programmer who only deals with Mercedes cars, he had to program it completely in several modules. This is done so that there is no error during diagnosis, and the button is inactive (there is no message on the screen that it is on or off). He also gave me a guarantee that a visit to an authorized workshop and connecting the car for diagnosis would not restore the function.
