Hello,

I recently purchased a GLA 250 2018. I believe there is an issue with the windshield washer nozzle alignment.
1. Part of the spray goes over the car and drenches the roof
2. The spray is too much and leaves rivulets running down the windscreen after the wipers stop moving.

Is this normal or do I need to take in for service?

Thanks

Generally the nozzles are pointed high for freeway speeds. If stopped at a light or moving slowly then the high (upward) setting will go over the car. This is a particularly annoying feature if you have just washed your car or are riding a motorcycle behind a car using their washers.

Per the owners manual they can be adjusted.

The windshield washer fluid from the spray nozzles no longer hits the center of the windshield.

The spray nozzles are misaligned. Have the spray nozzles adjusted at a qualified specialist work-shop.

Thanks. It was raining here for the last several days and I couldn't test it. But finally I did and you are correct. The problem only happens when the vehicle is stationary. Between 50-60MPH the spray stayed on the glass.
