I have a 2015 GLA 4matic that I am planning to add a tow bar to support a mobility scooter and carrier (total weight of 300 lbs). Is the suspension of the GLA adequate to support the weight?

There have been several post on hitches installed and there was leaking in the floor pan. Do a search on hitches and leaks.
