We've got more spyshots of the GLA45 AMG thanks to the guys at Automobile Magazine. These were taken while the GLA45 was being tested at the Nurburgring, and this time the GLA45 is sporting less camouflage, giving us a better look at the body.

The lower front and rear fascias are still being covered by swirly camouflage. I think that this camouflage is covering up enlarged front air intakes and a more aggressive rear diffuser. The white color also gives us a better idea of the contours of the body of the GLA45.

The GLA and CLA-Classes both ride on the same front-wheel-drive platform. So, you can expect that the GLA45 AMG will use the same 355 HP 2.0-liter turbo-four as the CLA45, the 7-speed automatic transmission, and standard 4Matic all-wheel drive developed specifically by AMG.

With the CLA45 accelerating from 0-60 mph in 4.5 seconds, we can expect that the GLA45 will clock in with a similar figure. The CLA45's pricing at $48,375 means that you won't be able to get a GLA45 for under $50,000 The GLA45 AMG should go on sale sometime in spring or summer of 2015, after the GLA250 hits showrooms in late 2014 and early 2015.

the pipes are definitely AMG. I don't think the camo is covering enlarged air intakes or else that would make the intakes relatively useless wouldn't you say

Likely it will, but do you mean the Macan Turbo S? Becuase that will easily pass $100k

Not sure, some people are saying it could be at the detroit show, others are saying they're not sure.

detroit would be the logical guess if they wanted to have this thing in dealers by spring.
