These mats are an investment, save you a ton of time and money from having to get your carpet cleaned from tough stuck on stuff, or products you'd have to buy which over time adds up to quite a lot.

Is it worth getting these over the MB rubber mats? They do look very rugged and long lasting. I wonder if they cost a lot more..

I purchased (in black) the WeatherTech front and back liners for my 2015 GLA 250 and I am extremely happy with my purchase. They fit seamlessly and offer a lot of protection. And in the back seat and front passenger section, I placed the MB carpets/mats on top of the liners (You can't do that on the driver's side because it would be dangerous as it would obstruct access to the pedals). It's really not necessary to use the MB mats over the liner, but I wanted to keep the look of the mats as well as the protection of the liners.

I really don't get the appeal of the Weather Tech mats over the MB ones. They're not any cheaper or better, and they have an ugly red WEATHER TECH!!!! logo screaming at you instead of the Mercedes logo that is more subtle and classy.

I also agree. I purchased the MB ones from the delearship and they look extremely similar. I haven't seen the weathertec ones in person but the MB ones fit perfectly and are very durable. Plus I love the MB logo on them to match the rest of the car.

From all appearances the MB and WeatherTech are the same product, or close enough that you can't tell from the photos posted here. I purchased the WeatherTech version in January 2015. At that time, there were no mats listed on the MB site for GLA or CLA. I also contacted my dealer and they could not find any in the MB parts system. Living in northern Indiana, really needed carpet protection from salt and snow, so couldn't wait for MB version to become available.

Agree with SPG43 that the WeatherTech logo is not attractive. I would replace mine with MB mats if they were physically different other than logo.
