Ordered on December 27th but wanted to add the pre-wire for GPS which they couldn't add since it was past that build point. So...they just ordered me another one on January 13th. Just got the window sticker and VIN today.

Wonder how long before it's built and hits the boat? Any guesses fellas?

Mine took about 6 weeks.

My GLA45 has a build date of April (first decade) and dealer said they would have it mid May so looks like 5-6 weeks is correct.

SSB....you have a VIN?

Does having a vin mean its being built?

No VIN yet…I suspect when the order goes from 'green' (meaning changes can be made to the order) to 'red' (means production is locked in and no changes can be made) will be the time I get a VIN. Would not expect that to occur until March.

Check with your dealer and he can give you the build month/decade (in Mercedes speak they divide the month up into 4 'decades' which correspond to weeks of the month…go figure.)
