My first GLA

Just bought a 2020 GLA 250 sold my 2006 350Z. Having problem pairing my iphone 13 to vehicle. Have all needed apps enabled , screen shows all info, when I remove the cable from phone, screen goes goes black then only function is radio. Need help, I'm an analog guy in a digital world.
