Does anyone know the name of this BBS wheel? I like it.
I think there's even more of a chance for it to happen to the GLA, it's an affordable Mercedes CUV. There's an overwhelming amount of aftermarket modifications for German cars, depending where you live you may not see many modified german vehicles.Don't see too many lowering a GLA.
AMG will lower the GLA45, so it's plausible that third party tuners will regularly do it as well.Don't see too many lowering a GLA.
tuning houses with special variants, sure. Individuals in the driveway, NO. Rims will be big with GLA but if you lower it you lose all of its perceived off road prowessAMG will lower the GLA45, so it's plausible that third party tuners will regularly do it as well.
You will lose some, not all. Plus these tuning houses usually tend to keep the wheel size at a size that wont sacrifice performance much.tuning houses with special variants, sure. That will be a tough one, more like who will be the first few, since once tuners see it's available, a lot will jump on it.who do you think will be the first to tune the GLA 45 AMG![]()
I have lightweight flow-formed 19x8.5's in +35 offset by Advanti on mine. I love them. Acceleration, braking and handling all improved through the decrease in rotating mass. I lost 11lbs per wheel from stock. 11 x 4 =44lbs in reduced rotating and unsprung mass which equates to 44 x 2 = 88lbs of 'sprung' weight (approximately) off of the vehicle. So has anyone actually placed new wheels on their GLA yet?
Really considering putting 20s on mine. HRE FF01 or TSW Nurburgring, had the TSW in matte gunmetal on my old Z4 and loved it so I'm contemplating getting it again.
None, however I am sitting much higher than your GLA45...Nice!
No problems with 8.5 width and +35 offset?
