Mercedes-Benz has given us a teaser video promoting its GLA 45 AMG concept, which is scheduled to be revealed later today at the LA Auto Show. The concept GLA 45 AMG should be fairly close to production ready.

The GLA 45 will run on a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 360 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque. Cosmetic changes will include muscular front and back bumpers, a discreet spoiler mounted above the rear window and a noticeably lower ride height. The grille should be model specific, and large alloy wheels and a "turbo AMG" emblem will complete the look.

thats a joke right? Is that what the youth market is looking for, a GLA that looks like its been living on the bottom of a cereal box?

It worked on the CLA race, but a suburban utility vehicle..... LOLOLOLOLOLLL

I'm not following you here...the GLA is a very modern styled vehicle, certainly not at the bottom of anything...

thats just your opinion, it doesn't look that bad, it's geared more torwards the younger MB buyer but still something for the older and more mature crowd.

dam we're back to this young vs old thing again. If its geared to young people I wish mercedes the best of luck selling a $50,000 Hot wheels toy to 20 year olds....

Styled like that the CLA 45 is not selling to anyone, lose the spoiler and the gaudy 45 decals, its a suburban utility vehicle not a LeMans entrant.

I do like the wheels though.

glad someone picked up the cereal box reference ;)

The spoiler is out of place, but it probably does serve a real purpose. If it was up to me i would either paint it white to match the rest of the body or remove it and sell it to some ricer.

Ah, no wonder I didn't see the humor. I'm too old for all of those new tuner movies -- references from the 60s and 70s are more my thing. :D
But you're young at heart since you are on a forum based on a car geared towards young people. You're a cool old dude!
