Hi LouieThis is from the change document I found on this forum:
KEYLESS-GO becomes part of Premium Package (also remains stand-alone option)
I don't know if it applies to Canada also.
I included the document file in this post.
True, but Europe always get the best candy. Americans only goal in life is to get a good job and buy a Benz, retire and live happily ever after. Having something like a Benz in the USA is a badge of honor. Lol. In Europe, driving a Benz is like driving a Regular budget car.Hi Louie
Yeah, im hoping it applies to CANADA as well and i am super jelly of the US religion, you guys always have everything better and before us CANADA. Example: The MBrace service, we never have it here in Canada and hopefully it will available next year in Canada.
I asked my dealer why and he gave me the answer; Because the US buying 10 times more than Canada so, everything Benz will give to the US firstDAMNZ
And about the keyless Go, i will call my dealer tomorrow to see what happens, i hope i can get my 700$ back or they give me a voucher for maintaining service or something if not, oh well.....
I think on the Canadian website you are only able to build a 2015 model still. I don't think it has been updated yet.If you go through the build process on the Mercedes Canadian website you'll see that Keyless-Go and Keyless-Start are line item upcharges. It's strange how different the U.S. and Canadian build process and packages are as it relates to what is or isn't included. I find it a bit illogical. Are we really that different?
I believe that anyone outside the USA pays less for their cars in general versus what they sell us... In the USA they stuff extras in cars and we pay for what is available. Seldom do we have the opportunity to order a car and sit and wait for 3 months to get it. We most likely will get in the first thing cooking in the lot, and pay for all those extras even if we do not need them. It's strange how different the U.S. and Canadian build process and packages are as it relates to what is or isn't included.
