Do Mercedes vehicles provide a warning light on the dash for low key fob battery ?
I am asking because my fob is not working as it should.
Normally I press unlock and that's exactly what it does. For the past 3 days, I have to press unlock a few times for it to work.
On the flip side, the lock button works with no issues.
I am thinking that it could be the battery, but if this is the case, why is it not the same for locking?
Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue ?

Yes, you get a screen warning, at least on the last two C-Classes we've had, but so far no indication on our 2016 GLA, but we've only had it seven months. We keep a spare battery in the car because when they go they go fast, especially with Keyless Go. Batteries are inexpensive and very easy to change...try it and see. Otherwise you might have signal interference if always at the same place. Barring that, it's one for service to check out.
