This is like gold. I just changed my rear diff oil prior to seeing this. This is my second oil change. I've only been able to get about 400 ml out during both oil changes. I did not know that the gear selector had to be in neutral, nor did i know that you have to turn the rear wheels 5 times. I also did not know to run the diagnostic system "to perform the system for the AWD solenoid valve when driving".

So, I don't have the diagnostic system to perform the function test. Does anyone know if there is an alternative method, or do i need to take to a shop to perform the test? And, since I didn't turn the wheels 5 times should i reaccomplish that portion?

Thanks.

You're a life saver! Thanks for responding. I'm going to order the socket now and hopefully some new jack stands with flat circular top design so I can stop ruining my factory jack points. I already messed up the front jack points because the jack stands I used have the "Y" design and as soon as I lowered the car on the stands, the plastic parts got slightly crushed at the corners because the stand is not wide enough for the plastic to stay inside the "Y"
I have a set of quickjack. They work pretty good. A little heavy to move around, but much easier and safer than jacking around with multiple sets of jacks. You just slide them under the weld seam, throw in a rubber chocks and press the button to raise.
