Has anyone read anything about base price for a GLA or GLA AMG? With the CLA at $29,900 and CLA AMG at $47,450, I wonder if the GLA and AMG version are going to be similar or much more?

I think Euro pricing is the only official pricing @ $29,300 euros.
I believe the CLA starts at 28,977 euros. These are probably for the 200 models though - which aren't sold in North America.

I am trying to figure out Canada or even US pricing..wondering if there will be a premium over the CLA AMG.

We might have to wait for mid 2014 for an official price announcement, till then, I think assuming it will be a few thousand more than the basemodel CLA is safe to say.

I think you're on to something...the New York Auto Show is in about one month's time. Perhaps Mercedes-Benz will announce pricing at the NY Auto Show, hence we will know pricing in about one month.

Nothing else important to GLA. He did ask me once again if I would consider changing over to the "substantially similar" CLA because somebody cancelled their CLA order that is about to arrive. Apparently the CLA is a hot seller and it's hard for him to keep one in general inventory.

I said I'm happy to wait for the GLA.
