What is and is it necessary to go to a Dealer for a B8 Service. I looked it up and have been doing all the requirements but not at Dealer Prices. How do I cancel the Dash Alert and tell it that I have carried out the necessary services?

As you likely know for your 2019 there are alternating year 'A' and 'B' service intervals. The 'A' is a relatively minor oil/filter change and some checks. The 'B' is somewhat more extensive and also includes changing the cabin air filter, wiper blades, brake fluid and tire rotation as necessary. Some other items dependent on accrued mileage, although saying that our last 'B' service in February was entitled "40K service" even tho' we still have less than.
As long as you keep your own records, preferably with material-used receipts, you're technically covered for any potential long-term warranty claim with Mercedes.
There are however sometimes 'silent' recall bulletins that are only addressed when you show up for regular service intervals.
Canceling the dashboard alert can also be problematic without Benz proprietary diagnostic hookup.
