Anyone on here have the same issues with clicking noise under the dashboard of their GLA250 4matic? The clicking noise comes on when I start the car but after a minute , it goes away. Also my gas flap or door is not latching sometimes, there’s was a re-tracking noise every time I close it. I was told it’s the door actuator; is it easy to replace. I’d like to just do it myself to save some $ .

When my cabin is cold I get a clicking noise from the driver's side left-most dash vent bezel. Once the cabin warms it ceases. It's initially tricky to hear-locate a precise cause, but by holding the bezel firmly I confirmed. I've also had this same issue in a prior Audi so presumably just a materials-fitment thing in my case (also a round bezel in that Audi case).

This is the noisiest, rattliest, squeakiest car I've ever had (and I've had Jeeps!). I often finally track down and solve a noise only to find new ones. Temperature definitely makes a difference on some of this plastic. Whenever I have any area of this car apart for anything, I always shove in padding and insulation. My favorite material for the job is the stupid pads that come in sleeping bras. One day, the next owner of this car is going to think someone who had a sewing or lingerie shop or must've owned this car!

Welcome. this seems to be a characteristic of these cars I suppose. Personally, I don't experience any major rattles or squeaks (knock on wood) but the factors mentioned above are all potential issues to look into. Pressing on the rattly area may reengage a loose clip or move any debris in the way. Some car audio shops wrap the bottom of the clips that hold door panels or trim with fabric tape to prevent them becoming loose or rattly (refer to linked video, copied URL at the relevant timestamp). Some sound mat would also help with the rattles if they're external. I've seen MB dealerships hot glue the clips onto the panel if they are loose or vibrate as a warranty fix (hot glue = "rubber sound insulation")
