This used to happen with my Chevy many years ago... that, coupled with its thirsty engine which sees me visiting the gas station more frequently than I visit the loo, I had to sell the car - it annoyed me that much. Today, I almost freaked out when I noticed that my c class boot randomly open by itself. The bad memory of my Chevrolet came flashing in my mind and that feeling was quite unpleasant. I just can't imagine having another experience with boot randomly opening like I had several years ago - it would open at the slightest touch on the fob and sometimes I could have sworn that I didn't rub it against anything but still it would open (I kinda found it embarrassing most times). When it happened with my Benz, I had the key fob in the pocket of my shorts (which is rather tight for a bloke to be fair), and I thought may it was pressed accidentally while I was doing chores around the house. I took it out and placed back in its pouch and it has not happened since, and never will! (I hope)
