Yesterday had a Curt hitch installed on my 45. Was trying to wait on the Execuhitch but those guys just kept stalling. Actually after the install there was no need to spend whatever on the Exec b/c the Curt installed great and looks great. Only using it for a Thule Helium bike rack, no towing. Did ask about the trailer wiring and they use the Curt powered unit and have had no problems for those that have asked about wiring.
Hope all the pics upload. The shop is father and some team that's been in business for about 40 years, nothing fancy but real craftsmanship. Hitch and 4 hour install was $475. I'm very pleased.
If I get all the pics they are:
Car with rear fascia and bumper removed
rear bumper
tail lights removed
rear fascia
mitch
working to align hitch and bumper
hitch with bumper
CAP sensor inside side of rear fascia (for those interested)
hitch installed waiting for fascia
trimming small piece from bottom of fascia
more fine tuning of fascia
checking fit
hitch installed
with Thule Helium bike rack
Hope all this helps someone.
Looks like I'll have to limit the pics on this post to 10 so will post the rest on the next post
