Is their anyway you can make the horn beep, when locking the car or when opening the car?? I had this on my old 2006 Ford Ranger, and My 2008 Mercury Milan. Helps to find your car in a parking lot, when you forget where it is parked.Can not believe that is not on these cars!!!! Their is alot of little things you need to really check out, when buying a car, which sometimes is important.

That's part of the Settings mode on your control console, at least for the 2016 250s. I believe the default is one beep for locking, but none when unlocking. Our 2012 C-Class had three beeps to lock, one to unlock, however. Hitting the panic button on your key fob should set off the beep to find your GLA.
If the same as in the 2016 manual: (Page 230):
* On the steering wheel left control cluster, click any of the left/right arrows. Select Settings by pressing OK.
* Press the Down arrow and select the Vehicle submenu by pressing OK.
* Press the Down arrow and select Acoustic Lock. Choose activated.
Done!
It is interesting, that in my car it came activated (horn beep) and I turned it off.
