Hello all,

I was listening to the built in Serious radio yesterday and everything was working fine. Today I went out for a drive and immediately noticed I was not getting any sound out of the speakers. My phone pairs with the car, but will not play anything. Radio option also has no sound.

Here is something that is also weird. Between doing the tests with all of the different option, I went to try the Sirius radio and it is not even an option to click anymore (AM/FM and the others are there, but Sat Radio gone). On the system screen on the bottom left where Sirius Service is I click on it and it says “Device Error”…

Please help me. I haven’t even made my second car payment yet and this is killing me.

No sound from multiple input sources points to amp. Do you have the standard or Harmon Kardon system?

The Sirius thing is weird. The Sirius box can also go out, but you should still hear AM/FM radio, Bluetooth, etc. just fine.

I believe its the HK system because the sound is unusually good.

Yes the subscription is up to date. It’s not just the Sat radio, ALL sound from every source is gone

I once inadvertently had the volume turned all the way down. Sometimes it's the simplest things, but you've likely already checked that.

Alas it's possible your amp is offline for some reason. I applaud your trying to self-resolve but having exhausted every test you may have to schedule dealership service. Fortunately you're well under warranty. All the best.

Oh, sorry, when you mentioned only 2nd payment I assumed new (subject line now augmented and thread moved from originally posted MY2020+ to pre-2020 tech section).

Benz dealership service has diagnostic tools that are typically better than 3rd party so you may still be best served by scheduling same.

Bumping now the thread has been moved. Can anyone assist me? Still no sound. I tried the system reboot through the engineering mode and still no sound at all and Sat Radio is gone.
