Front bumper gap alignment

Hi Everyone,

I took my '23 to the dealer for some service work, warranty work and a new recall. One of the items was to replace the cracked black front bump carrier (part A2478858203) that is on the very top and mounts the bumper to the top front of the vehicle.

Long story short, I told them if they needed to remove the bumper forget about. Of course they ignored me and ended up removing, replacing the part, and putting the bumper back on.

Now the gaps around the hood are much smaller on the driver fender and driver side bumper and much larger on the passenger side on the bumper and fender. Also seems the bumper is slightly higher on the driver side. I found it strange that the hood to fender spacing changed - can the bumper position move the fender given they are mounted together near the headlights?

Is there a way to adjust this? I looked high and low, but didn't see anything under the hood.

I'm hesitant to go back to the dealer as I don't want them to make it worse or start playing with the hood. Is it just a matter loosening the mounting bolts (to fender, above and below headlight, and under car) and adjusting the bumper alignment and tightening them back up?

I saw some threads about removing the bumper to change the grill and what not, hope you guys can comment on how you adjusted the front bumper to match how it was to begin with.

Thanks!

Hi,

I figured out that you can loosen the 7 fasteners on the top and adjust the bumper to hood gap by pushing it in/out and tightening it down.

The hood gap with the side fenders are still not equal, I haven't figured out how to adjust given only the front bumper was removed/replaced, all else was untouched.
