Blackout Benz (Brabus and Plasti-Dip)

Started working on my GLA, so far I blacked out the front grille and rear trim.

It's a 2016 GLA 250 with the AMG Styling and Night Pack.
Unfortunately they left chrome on the door handles (keyless entry option) as well as the trunk.

The front trim and logo were pretty easy to remove:

For the rear I just taped it off, didn't want to break anything...

This is the result:

The rear logo and luggage bump trim have proven to be problematic, the plasti-dip keeps peeling off.
I will be removing the chrome lettering (GLA 250 and 4matic)

BRABUS rear spoiler (156-450-00)

BRABUS front bumper add-on (156-230-00)

I really like the spacers, the wheel are now flush with the body instead of inset.

I installed the following:

H&R 20556659 TRAK+ Wheel Spacer DR Pair 10mm
40MM WHEEL STUD BOLT M14X1.5X40 10pcs

The spacer have a solid center so I had to remove the MB logo wheel centers but I like the brushed metal center the spacers give.

Thinking of doing the BRABUS PowerXtra B25 next...

Nice job. I'm planning to Plasti dip my roof things from silver to black. Also debating to dip some interior parts.

Your car looks pretty sick. Do you have a before and after picture of your wheels/spacers?

I was thinking of doing the emblems, that chrome piece that connects the tail lights, and possibly the front grille on my car too. We have just about the same car except I'm a grey GLA.

Love the look of your car, If you're open to suggestions I would suggest tenting the front windows and possibly tenting the reverse lights (white part of the tail lights or maybe the whole tail lights). I did a quick photoshop test below

Great suggestions, the windows tint was on my list and tinting just the white part of the tail light hadn't occurred to me, I will look into it!

Here is a pic of the before... You can see how far in the rear wheel was. In fact I think I could have gone with a 20mm in the back. This also shows the front chrome before I blacked it out.

Did the Brabus front bumper add on come painted? How is it installed? Clips or adhesive?
