220d Fuel Economy

Hi,

My car, 220d, is 1600 klm old, and is averaging 5.9 Litres/100 klm, this is 90% rural.

Was wondering what other GLA 220d members are averaging,

After 4430 k's we are averaging the same 5.9 l/100 k's. This includes a half dozen highway runs of 200 k's. Doing a long trip in January so hope to see that drop considerably.

Hi! Ive got myself a 2015 200 cdi aut. 4-matic, and are on average 0,65 L/10 km (50/50 wide-short driving). This is on wintertiers, some on slippery roads. The 200 cdi is basicly the same engine as the 220 cdi, but is shortened down to 136hp/300torque. I am considering an engine tune-up to 175 hp/375torque. They 'promise' a lower fuel consumtion of 7 - 10%. That would give appr. your consumtion I guess. These tuning-guys also offers an increase for the 220 cdi, from 170hp(ish?) up to some 205hp.
