Towing a GLA250?

I'm trying to put together a solution for towing my GLA250 behind my RV. Mine is a FWD, not 4MATIC. I plan to pull it, front wheels up, on a tow-dolly.

The Owner's Manual kind of sort of alludes to this being OK, so long as one remembers to disengage the electric parking brake. (I'm thinking of just pulling the brake's fuses, to make double-sure there is no chance of an inadvertent re-engagement.)

Anyone have any experience in this area? I've done a search of the forums and the only thing on-topic I've discovered is that towing a GLA in this manner isn't possible with a 4MATIC.

I welcome any feedback!

theres a way to dis able auto brake. but cannot remember. search the forum.

it involve some sequence, which at the end the sac system will give warning about auto brake disengage.

i have tried that procedure and it works.

Thank you!!!

I appreciate you tracking down that previous post for me. I searched a little last night and hadn't found it; finding it was on my to-do list for today, and you've saved me the time and trouble.

Thank you!!!
