2017 AMG GLA 45 - Seattle

Hello everyone,

I bought a 2017 AMG GLA 45 new. I've done very little to the car so far, just tint and an offset license plate holder mounted to the tow point. Picture below with some random dude it in is right after tint was put on.

Bit late to the forum here compared to when I bought the car.

Anyone else in the Seattle area? I've seen two other AMG GLA 45's around but many GLA's for sure.

Welcome to the GLA forum! Have you noticed any impact by front license plate location to the sensors on the bumper? There's been some forum discussion on that over the years, which you can find in our archives, Search box on the upper right of most browsers.

Turbolink,

I'm pretty certain that its blocking the sensor on the passenger side. I have noticed that it doesn't seem to chirp at me as much as it did prior to the license plate holder going on.

I've actually tried two different versions. One mount is more centered than the other. Both seemed to interfere with the sensor. All that being said, I don't get any errors or anything of that nature.

Both of them are from a company called CravenSpeed.

I did notice more flex with the offset one, though not enough to be a concern.
