How much did you pay for your GLA?

Hi, I have just brought a new 2017 GLA 250 and will be receiving it the next week. Anyway, while doing my research in order to choose the right crossover for my and my family I notice a great variation in GLA prices depending on the country of purchase, maybe it has to do with the optional packages available in each country?

So I got curious, how much did you pay for your GLA? It will be great if you specify the country you bought it and the equipment you optioned.

For myself, I got a 2017 GLA 250 with the following equipment:

1. Bixenon lights and led tail lights.
2. 18.5'' AMG wheels
3. Leather sport seats with red stitching.
4. AMG Kit.
5. Electric driver seat with position memories.
6. Parktronic system with active parking assist.
7. Apple Carplay
8. Heated and electric side mirrors.
9. Thermotronic AC
10. Sport AMG leather steering wheel.
11. Keyless start.
12. Security package (7 airbags, adaptive brake, attention assist, collision prevention assist, Moextended tires, ESP, ABS, ASR, BAS)
13. Panoramic sunroof.
14. 4Matic.

Everything for the equivalent of US$27,487.17

It was brought in Guadalajara, Mexico.

That seems crazy cheap. Can't even get a stripped, used 2015 for that price.

I know, the msrp on this vehicle is US$31,230.76 but I got a good deal bringing two Mercedes concessionaires into a price war.

MSRP for model equipped as you note would be $12K-15K higher. Good deal???? This sounds very suspicious all around... Really - a brand new '17 - price war? If it wasn't new I would suspect a flood-damaged vehicle.

Even though you state it has AC, sounds as if the car may be 'hot'.
Or a Troll. Can't see a MB dealer in Guadalajara, Mexico, or even close.

I'm going to Mexico to purchase my next Mercedes! There are actually 3 MB Dealers in or near Guadalajara, Mexico. I can't speak or read Spanish, so it was hard to navigate their web site, but one of them lists the base MSRP on a FWD GLA as 480,000 pesos, which is $25,235.21 U.S. Dollars! MBUSA lists the MSRP on a base GLA250 4Matic as $34,850.00. So, I'd say Mercedes are quite a bit cheaper in Mexico. Now, if they could be imported to the U.S. and if the cost to do so was not a deterrent, it might be a better deal than the Germany delivery deal!

Almost 60 k dollars for gla 200 amg poor engine lol.
Ridiculous tax policy..

If it was gla 45 amg it would cost me around 90-100 k dollars .make the math..

Though mine 2016 gla is almost fully equipped.

I have no reason to lie or troll, but I can understand that you are suspicious and that is the whole reason of this thread. The price difference between the Mercedes US and Mexican market seems to be very high and I want to understand why is that so.

About the price war between two dealerships went as follows:

First I was going for a deal with a dealership in Guadalajara, Mexico, for a GLA 180 (FWD, smaller engine and poor equipment) for the MSRP of $480,000.00 pesos (roughly US$24,700.00). I went home, cooled down and did a Mercadolibre (Mexican Ebay) search for used GLAs. Then I found a MB dealership in Mexico City that was offering a Demo GLA 200 (FWD, smaller engine, medium equipment) for $500,000.00 (roughly US$25,700.00). So I called the FIRST dealership in Guadalajara and I told them that I got a better deal in Mexico City, so they offer to get me the same deal within a week. Luckily they failed, so I got to put pressure in, telling them that I had lost the Mexico City deal based on their promise (which was true). As a result they offered me the brand new 2017 GLA 250 (full engine, 4matic, full equiped) for just $536,000 (US$27,487.17) which I Immediately brought.

I was trying to post the URL of the MB website with the MSRP and the equipment sheet, but apparently I am to noob for this forum, so no url this time.

FWIW, didn't MB just open a GLA production line in Mexico this past year? Perhaps that's part of the difference?

I thought Mexico was B Class, not GLA (yet). I've heard they are making GLAs in India now.

Our car carrier stopped in Mexico a couple of days ago and from what I can tell it appears to have picked up cars there rather than drop cars off.

We are watching Pam's car sail up the southern part of Baja now with a sure time in San Pedro Harbor (Long Beach) at noon on the 8th.
